๐Ÿ’ก Tips & Tricks

  • ยท

For a deeper color, simmer the chickpeas with a black tea bag which provides an authentic dark hue found in Punjab.

  • ยท

Always add the amchur powder at the very end to preserve its bright, tangy flavor profile.

  • ยท

If you don't have amchur, a squeeze of fresh lime juice can serve as a substitute, though the flavor profile will slightly differ.
