| 0.5 cup 115 g | Unsalted Butter |
| 1 cup 240 ml | Heavy Cream |
| 1 cup 100 g | Grated Parmesan Cheese |
| 2 tbsp 30 ml | Black Truffle Oil |
| 2 cloves 2 cloves | Garlic |
| 1 tsp 5 g | Salt |
| 0.5 tsp 2 g | Black Pepper |
2 Method
Step 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the tagliatelle according to package instructions until al dente.
Step 2. While the pasta cooks, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Step 3. Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer gently for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Step 4. Reserve half a cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
Step 5. Toss the cooked pasta into the cream sauce, adding the Parmesan cheese and truffle oil.
Step 6. Mix thoroughly, adding reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick, and season with salt and plenty of black pepper.
